Hello Alsa-users,
I currently try to get some sound out of my brand new Dell Precision M4300
Laptop.
Intell Santa Rosa Platform,
with sound device:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation HD Audio Controller (rev 02)
00:1b.0 Class 0403: 8086:284b (rev 02)
Sound is working fine, but only through the headphone Jacks.
alsa-mixer and kmix only show Master and PCM Volume, not even inputs are
shown.
Linux is SuSE 10.1, i already tried alsa-drivers and userspace 1.0.14 from
alsa-project.org.
Any ideas, what might be wrong?
I tried to look into the snd-hda-intel sources, to find the headphone sense
logic, but didn't get through.
