I have the problematic NeoMagic 256 sound card on a slackware 11.0 Inspiron 3500 and I can't seem to get it to work. I have installed 1.0.13 and have managed to load snd-nm256 by passing the force_ac97=1 option. But still no joy. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get it working?
