hi you all, this is the first time i write to this list.
i work with debian_etch (testing) on a asus am2 machine. compiled and installed the newest alsa-drivers directly into the kernel; 2-6-17-2-k7 (debian). but i cannot get the hda-intel (nvidia) soundchip properly going; neither with the alsa-driver neither with the driver nvidia provides when i bought the asus motherboard. alsamixer shows verything a mixer should show. some help would be highly appreciated. if you need more info (from my side this is a first probe on this list) : please let me know. any help is on advance highly appreciated. regards, steef ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
