A real reply will also have In-Reply-To: and References: headers. They will/should be set automatically by your mail client (along with the Re: in the Subject:) when you use the reply function. But none of this makes much sense if you reply to a digest. If you plan to actively participate in a list, rather than just reading what happens, don't use digest mode. But the first thing you *should* configure is *not* to sent any html.
