Will you post the whole lsmod. I don't know if it's just me but that looks 
like it's loading an OSS module.

I don't know SuSe, but on the earlier versions of FC, FC1, and 2, OSS modules, 
usb-midi, and audio, which were enabled in the kernel, needed to be put 
in /etc/hotplug/blacklist, so that they didn't interfere with Alsa.

Feel free to shoot me down in flames for being an idiot, but it's just a 
thought.
