I use Debian unstable. I`m not getting any sound, even though i unmute and set up alsamixer. Aplications (Movie player, Rhythmbox, xmms) run normally, without error messages, but i still can`t hear anything
I recompiled my kernel ( 2.6.17.8), installed new alsa driver, lib and utils (1.0.12rc2). I was using instructions from
http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php?company=ATI&card=ATI-IXP+southbridge+HD-audio+and+modem.&chip=SB450&module=hda-intel
and i also tried advices from
http://alsa.opensrc.org/hda
None of it helped me.
Some informations about my laptop(I`ll send more when needed):
