Hi Andi, Yes, when the card does not work, the module snd-ice1712 is loaded, and can be unloaded and reloaded. In fact it is loaded automatically during the boot. You know, there are all the snd modules (ice1712, pcm, etc...)
I don't find any *alsa* or *snd* file or directory under /var/log , and I've been searching for some through all the file system, but I've found none. I supposed it should be there, that's why I asked for advice. I'm waiting for a succesful boot to see if the alsa log is there only when the card works Using the 1.0.12rc? that was on the web (by now off-line) makes no difference between 1.0.11, by the way. Thank you, Roger 2006/8/4, Andreas Kilgus <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Roger Pueyo Centelles schrieb: > > > Wha'ts cool is that if I reboot, maybe next time it will work, or > > maybe it won't.
