Greetings

I also have that USB Sound thingy. It plays my sound, even in 5.1. But I only
have PCM and Capture in alsamixer.

Output of amixer controls:
numid=1,iface=MIXER,name='PCM Playback Switch'
numid=2,iface=MIXER,name='PCM Playback Volume'
numid=3,iface=MIXER,name='PCM Capture Volume'

I have surfed the net for some days now to find a solution. I know from lsusb
that my card has audio controls for more than 2 streams + 1 switch.

What I really miss is the opportunity to hear the sound of my tv via Line-In. I
can capture the sound but it is not passed through to the speakers.

I even checked the source of usbaudio.c - and found special routines for 2 other
sb usb cards.
Now I think there are 2 possibly solutions:
a) we need a special bootup-code for the usb-card
b) alsa or the usb-subsystem of the kernel do not use the correct usb-interface

Anyway I suppose we need a patch to the source. Or is there anyone out there who
can access more than 2 controls in alsamixer and alike?
