I have a Toshiba A105-S4004 laptop that has the Intel High
Definition Audio for both audio and modem. I have sounds working,
and the modem somewhat working. My problem is that I can not get
sound from the modem. The modem will dial and connect fine. I just
can not monitor the progress. I also suspect that it should be
possible to record/playback through the modem, as it does show up
in the /proc tree as a capture and playback device. But I am not
sure how to access it. The only mono channel in the mixer is for the
microphone. Here is the output of aplay -l:

**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC861 Analog [ALC861 Analog]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 6: Si3054 Modem [Si3054 Modem]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

Here is the section from lspci:

I am running Fedora Core 5 with a 2.6.17 kernel. I have tried using
several of the different model= options with the snd-hda-intel
module, but I keep getting an unknown model message in the logs.

My searches for more information have not gone well - I keep getting
the same information in different forms. If someone knows how to get
this working, or where I should look for information on this, please
let me know.

TIA
Mikkel
