I am getting this when I try to record with my V2000 Presario Laptop. The first time I jacked in my guitar and tried to record it work beautifully. The second time I connected my guitar to record it refused to record and I checked the message log and dmesg and was greeted by this message (kernel: atiixp: codec acquire timeout). Also this knocks out my sound completely after this a quick reboot of the computer and I have playback enabled agan but other than that first time of plugging in my guitar and recording it has never worked. I have googled this and found nothing I was hoping maybe someone in the community has run into this before or atleast could point me in a good direction.
