Why does aplay take a sound, such as Front_Right.wav and play it over both speakers?
for example: #cd /usr/share/sounds/asla #aplay Front_Right.wav - The sound comes out both the speakers I have connected to my card. Whereas speaker-test can keep the speakers separate: #speaker-test -c6 -tsine -f800 - this produces a fuzz sound, but it will cycle through all five channels of my sound card. I am currently listening to two of them and the sound is on one speaker, and then the other.
