I am trying to get a usb mic to work off an ARM development kit running 2.6.17-rc4. The mic works fine on the desktop machine, the program I'm using is basically the minimal capture program from http://equalarea.com/paul/alsa-audio.html#captureex When I run it on the kit, I get /dev/controlC0 and /dev/pcmC0D0c created by udev, but the program dies with: (trying to open plughw:0,0) ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1355:(_snd_pcm_hw_open) Invalid value for card
and aplay -l: aplay: device_list:218: no soundcards found... I can't run alsaconf because the kit doesn't have ncurses. Any ideas? Thanks. -Jesse ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
