Thanks for the information. Still a rather frustrating search though. Is
there any (current) software that also uses the driver this way? In the
code I see stuff about instruments and the like, so I take you didn't
mean that nothing but (regular) PCM is supported?
In this huge forest of dead links, I basically only see the old "Linux
UltraSound Project" at:
http://www.perex.cz/~perex/ultra/
Last release there is 9 years old (and doesn't compile). MikMod seems to
do it all in software and then feed regular "streaming" PCM to the card
(through OSS even).
If you are able to, a step by step for "doing anything other than aplay
foo.wav" with this card would be much appreciated.
