Hello,
there seems to be a problem with the module bt87x in alsa 1.0.11rc4
(linux kernel 2.6.17-rc1). Using kernel 2.6.17-rc1 I cannot access to
the device /dev/dsp1 which is the bt87x and does exist:
/usr/bin/mencoder -tv

Same command is working with kernel <= 2.6.16.
