Hi It used to work when I was using redhat type distro, now that I have ubuntu. I just cannot get a peep out of my midi controller. It may be hotplug (I have grown to hate it). So my questions are.
1) How do I enable the gameport on SB-Live for midi input. I have actually been through the emu10k1 source code in alsa tree and do not even see anything about game port. 2) Why don't any alsa modules produce klogd output?. Are these guys compiling it in a way to supress all output, man it is like using windows, I am getting more blind as the distro's progress. Any info in this way will be very very appreciated.
