Hello everybody,
I have just installed Mandriva 2006.0 with alsa 1.0.9
it recognizes and makes the soundcard work but
everytime a sound is played there are noises with the
music.
"everything a sound is played" means what? How do you play the sound? is it
using alsa or oss emulation? ( ie does it use /dev/dsp?)
alsaplayer doesn't load anything as it says there is
no stream.
?
If you told us the exact error message it might help.

utils won't "make install" them selves saying that
something is missing in the dirs make creates...
Again, what is the exact error message.

problem is that I don't know what to do.
