I'm running alsa 1.0.10 on my SB Live! Value and i need some help with capture settings. my shoe-string budget studio features a soundcard with a blown line in. I need stereo input so i can capture two live channels at the same time in ardour. I've wired up a head phone jack to the aux in port on the side of the card, and i can verify that it's picking up two distinct channels from my mixer under M$ using the kX drivers. but in jack, only the pcm capture_1 carries a signal. capture_2 is totaly dead. the mixer for emu10k1 is less than intuitive. i was going to post the output of alsactl -f ./settings store but it's like 3061 lines and has 202 defined controlls... so please let me know what configs to post, or what to grep for. thanks ahead of time, and all you developers keep up the good work, and thanks for helping make my shoe-string studio possible.
