hi!

i have noticed problems while recording a stereo line in with jack/ardour and
cinelerra. the capture sources just one input channel on both capture channels,
while line-in works correct in stereo. listening to the capture also is in
mono.
i'm owning a aopen barebook with intel ICH6 (i 915gm) chipset, but i noticed
the same problem with a fujitsu amilo m7400 (ICH4). on a desktop machine (with
a soundcard i don't know yet) this two programms are capturing correct in
stereo.

all other channels are working fine with the alsa driver. kernel is a 2.6.14,
using debian sid with

ii alsa-base 1.0.10-3 ALSA driver configuration files
ii  alsa-utils     1.0.10-1       ALSA utilities
