Hi, I'm having a problem with my Audigy 1 sound card.
I've got sound working in KDE but I am unable to set
the capture device.
I'm trying to setup Mythtv and I need to capture the
Line which is patched to the output of my tv tuner
card. When line is unmuted I can hear the tv signal
so for the most part Alsa seems to be working.
However, if I mute Line and try to record the signal I
get nothing because I can't figure out how to set the
capture source.
One test I ran was I launched xawtv and muted the
line, then I ran:
aplay /dev/dsp
>From what I understand I should be able to hear the
signal that is coming from the tv card, but instead I
get the following:
Playing raw data '/dev/dsp' : Unsigned 8 bit, Rate
8000 Hz, Mono
underrun!!! (at least 8.750 ms long)
underrun!!! (at least 11.790 ms long)
underrun!!! (at least 11.780 ms long)
underrun!!! (at least 11.779 ms long)
underrun!!! (at least 11.807 ms long)
Aborted by signal Interrupt...
I've search everywhere I can think of but can't seem
to find a solution. If anyone has any ideas I would
greatly appreciate the help.
