This works, but alsa convert ac3 to stereo sound and I get only stereo PCM stream at 48KHz.
I want now try to downgrade to alsa 0.9.7 and maybe it help (I had newer so old alsa version with my card) In other post was that ac3 works with 0.9.7, so maybe some chages are there (never version kernel 2.6.6 with patch from alsa.org) which make my ac3 passthru malfunction.
