I already have the newest version of the nVidia driver (version 5336).

My Debian /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file loads these modules:

  Section "Module"
  # Load "GLcore"
          Load "bitmap"
          Load "dbe"
          Load "ddc"
  # Load "dri"
          Load "extmod"
          Load "freetype"
          Load "glx"
          Load "int10"
          Load "record"
          Load "speedo"
          Load "type1"
          Load "vbe"
  EndSection

I have read on some forums I found on google that some people have
problems with the sound when recording is enabled. Is there any trouth
in this? I will try to comment out "Load "record"" when I am free to
restart X, and see what it does.

Btw, Eric, your mail client's threading is broken.
