Hi, I am unable to get my microphone working. The chipset is VIA VT8235 (AD1980) on an ASUS A7V8X-X. I am using the snd-via82xx driver. Playback works without a glitch, but I am unable to capture anything. The microphone works, as I can hear feedback coming out of the speakers. I tried arecord piped to the standard output, and it seems that nothing is getting through. Any ideas? Should I try anything, or should I post additional information?
