Hello fello ALSA users! Does anyone know how to configure alsa (specifically the intel8x0 driver) to output sound on both the analog (front speakers) and SPDIF jacks simulatneously? I have an nforce2 based MB which uses the intel ALSA driver.
I can get each one to work individually using: aplay -D hw:0,0 test.wav # sends to analog jack aplay -D hw:0,2 test.wav # sends to SPDIF jack I have tried various combinations of buttons using the mixer with no success.
