Hi, I'm running Kernel 2.64 and the version of alsa that goes with it (sorry not at my machine). Anyway I got hold of a spdif cable so I hooked it up to my SBLive 5.1 card (already working using analog). I put the appropriate options in modules.conf. Playing a audio CD with XMMS I get sound, but it has so much 'jitter' that I can't listen to it.
Is there something else I can try, or is it down to the CD-Rom (Lite-On 486 48x)?
