There isn'such options, but you can use front end rear channels 
independent. Never SB Lives uses AC97 for all channels (there is not 
other DAC).

Use front and rear devices. For example for aplay
aplay -D front some.wav
aplay -D rear some.wav

Also you don't need this aound.conf (I think it should be .asoundrc)
hw:0,x are very card specific
For example on some card hw:0,0 can be front channels and hw:0,1 
rear chanels but for SB Live this is not true (hw:0,0 is normal pcm 
and hw:0,3 is used for AC3 passthrough.
Use front and rear devices instead (there are more of them - 
center_lfe, surround40, surround51, spdif), and try not to use 
hw:0,x directlly, if you don't know how there are working.
