Append them to the kernel command line.
If you're using LILO, then add it inside the quotes to append=""
in /etc/lilo.conf and run lilo afterwards.
If you're using GRUB, then just append them to the line beginning with kernel
in /boot/grub/grub.conf or /boot/grub/menu.lst.
