I have an Audigy 2 and I have a bit of a problem. I've prowled all over the net looking for this one, and I don't think I've missed any obvious sources.
The Audigy2 plays just fine. Any sound fed by media players, games, etc, are fine. WHat I cannot do is get ANY inputs running. I can't hear the CD drive, I can't hear the line-in, nothing. This is the case under recent ALSA releases and the integrated ALSA in the 2.6.0 kernel. As I am converting old tapes to CDs for an oral history group, this is a problem, particularly since my old ISA SoundBlaster worked just fine. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
