Hello!

I have Laptop with SiS630 chipset. It has on-board audio (and winmodem).
Driver that comes with kernel (trident.o) loads and works without
problem. But when I try to use alsa driver instead, I get an error "No
trident card found or device is busy". Someone has mentioned to me that
it might be a conflict with winmodem. But I'm not using any winmodem
drivers for Linux. Maybe I need to provide some parameters to the
module? Just to make sure that there's no conflict with trident.o I've
recompiled kernel without that module. Didn't help.

I have Linux 2.4.21, latests alsa drivers.

Thank you

Andrei
