Hi I have integrated sound with VIA chipset, 2.4.22 kernel, alsa 1.0.0rc1. My soundcard works , but with the mixer I have problems. The PCM is boolean, i.e. a switch only, I can't adjust it to the preferred volume, it is either on or off. The master volume slide is adjustable but without any effect on the volume. I tried all the dxs supports, with the dxs potentiometer when I decrease it to 94 I can't hear a thing. So this way I have like 4 states of this volume slide (100, 98, 96, 94).
