The patch went without any flaws on a vanilla 2.6.1 kernel (after I had
reversed alsa-bk-2004-01-20.patch). I've always been using the same
.config file (ice1712 as the only hw driver) with 2.6.1 which never
failed on alsa.
Use recent 2.6.2-rc kernels.
