Has anyone tried the Terratec Phase 88 ? I changed the PCI ID in alsa-kernel/pci/ice1712/ews.h for the EWS88MT to the PCI id for the Phase88 and the card will play, but I cannot record. I do not know if the mixer has anything to do with it but there is something different, when the driver loads it does not find an AC97 mixer.
Some messages from /var/log/messages: AC'97 0 does not respond - RESET AC'97 0 access is not valid [0xffffffff], removing mixer. ice1712: cannot initialize ac97 for consumer, skipped Any help would be appreciated.
