All seems to be fine, all appropriate mixer sliders are ok, but... no sound at all. My motherboard is equipped with the same hardware (VIA8233A). The versions prior to (0.9.0rc7) are working fine. Currently I have 0.9.0rc6 and the sound is OK, but when I upgrade to any version above (including 1.0.0rc2) I have the problem described previously. Obviously the bug has been intruduced in the version 0.9.0rc7 and exists until now. Maybe you could try version 0.9.0r6 and tell me if you have the same behaviour? Any other ideas?
