-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello all (again), I was playing round with amixer yesterday and managed to get sound coming out of my front and rear speakers, how happy I was until I lost the settings..
Anyway, After running alsamixer again and fiddling around, I couldn't stumble across the same settings :/ However, after doing: station:/home/dave # amixer set Master 74 Simple mixer control 'Master',0 Capabilities: pvolume pswitch pswitch-joined Playback channels: Front Left - Front Right Limits: Playback 0 - 31 Front Left: Playback 31 [100%] [on] Front Right: Playback 31 [100%] [on] I noticed that front-left and front-right are the only ones listed as capable anyway, does anyone know the settings for sound to come out the rear speakers. SoundCard: Soundblaster 5.1 Digital! Speakers: Logotech z640 Alsa: 0.9.6-66 Kernel: 2.4.21-144 Thanks, Dave. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/+m3gzvZ8046T2FYRAn+1AKCSpIyihAMZapM83A/dfszFZpG/nQCfXyvk 698yFKCLYKYx4K83tWFaptQ= =5hlJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials.
