But I have such a via-motherboard . details:
ECS k7vza motherboard VT8363 chipset, VT82C686A
My audio was stuttering, even the first stream, but this was solved by setting the period_time from 0 to 1. I don't know what this means, but it works, but I have the impression I'm getting some cracking/noise during the music. It's not so easy to hear it, but it's there. Does anybody knows how to get rid of this, so the sound is very pure? Or is this maybe going to be solved in future versions? I tried the dxs=1/2/3 in modules.conf,
but this didn't work.
my config:
I can't use a buffer of 16192(is pushing it I suppose :)), but 8192 works for me.
thanks,
Michel
