[Alsa-user] Alsa Sound cards - which one

What sound cards are used by the people on this list - 
especially the developers <G>.  I currently have a Turtle 
Beach Santa Cruz and want to upgrade.  I have been looking 
at cards like the Midiman Delta 44 or others in it's class 
but I'm concerned about support for it and others like it 
in Alsa.
