Running Gentoo on a Dell 4550, 2.6G P4 with Sound Blaster Live. Boot messages report modules load normally, but sounds will not play. Initially acpi was enabled in the kernel, so I disabled it with acpi=off pci=noacpi in grub. "lspci" reports the card on IRQ 11. I've even moved the card to another PCI slot - no help.
