I meant that all features of the AD1985 are supported (except jack
sensing).

You could use software mixing (with the dmix plugin), but there are
problems with old OSS programs.

Yes. The Audigy can play 32 streams simultaneously (it uses the
64-voice wavetable engine for "normal" sounds, too).
