I am using alsa 0.9.0rc8 that comes with Mandrake 9.1 I am not able to record using "arecord". I've setup mic with the command: amixer set Mic 100 capture And also enables Mic Boost using alsamixer
I am able to play sound but not able to record at all. The sound card detected is Intel 82801CA-ICH3 No information whether this is supported or not is available on the alsa website.
