However, seaching for "alsa CSC1525", in the first match I found a patch that has this line in it: ISAPNP: CSC1525=CSC0100,CSC0110,CSC0103 Searching for "vendor CSC0100" I turn up "Crystal Audio". But I don't see any "crystal" in the soundcard matrix. However, this post to debian-user http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2002/debian-user-200208/msg01338.html says that snd-card-cs4236 alsa module needs to be used (though I'm not sure how the poster figured that out). A follow-up post says "It worked only when I enabled ISAPnP in the kernel." I'm afraid rapidly getting out of my depth here. Anyone willing to help me out some? TIA, Joe PS.
