"alsamixer" is part of the alsa-utils userland package. In addition to the alsa kernel modules you need to install alsa-lib, then alsa-utils and finally (for the rest of the tools) alsa-tools. You'll find the packages in the alsa website. You also need to properly configure your /etc/modules.conf file (plus if you don't have /dev/snd/* you need to run the snddevides script that comes with alsa-driver). -- Fernando ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.
