Hi,

I am using a Gigabyte KT600 Motherboard with a VIA multimedia chip.

00:11.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233/A/8235 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 60)

controller. There is a Windows application which comes with the mobo that allows
the blue and pink jacks to be used as 4 channels of output.
i.e., the blue line-in jack can be assigned to rear channels out, and the pink mic-in jack can be used
for LFE/center out. This assignment works independent of the optional 5.1 bracket

Does anyone know whether amixer can accomplish this assignment and the magic
incantation? Thanks - the controls are listed below.
