Capturing audio on VT8235/AD1980 with 0.9.8 seem to have a lots of problems. I hope to be clear in reporting it. Feel free to ask me more detail. I compiled alsa-0.9.8 with only the vt82xx driver and sequencer = yes. This was already reported. On Aux I can get a correct stereo signal. The same if I capture on CD... Summarising: Capture on Line: audio mono (left) from Line, no audio from Aux, audio mono from CD (maybe the missing line channel?) Capture on Aux: no audio from Line, audio mono from Aux, audio mono from CD (the same channel as above, the missing Aux channel) Capture on CD: no audio from Line, no audio from Aux, audio stereo from CD.
