hello, I have one als4000 sound card used in a mashine running gentoo unstable with xfs-sources ( 2.4.20-xfs ). the modules load ok, no errors in dmesg or logs, but for one strage reason i can't modify the volumes or unmute any of the volumes. no matter what i do, using mixers or scripts. any kind of ideea why ? any clue ?
