I've downloaded rtsynth-1.9.2 from http://www.linux-sound.org/rtsynth/ and it has a folder of MIDI file examples plus .mst somethings. I have trolled thru all docs I can find simply looking for anything that gives me a clue how to hear those MIDI files via RTSynth but no luck so far... Ok, so I'm just too dumb... can anyone please put me out of my misery and give me a one line clue how to play/hear MIDI files with RTSynth (I have no outboard MIDI anything) ?
