Ive noticed that the alsa mixer's master volume control does not affect the volume of the headset volume.
This means that the kde mixer (and others that use the OSS interface i guess) can only control the volume via the pcm control (since there is no headset control) Would it not make sense for the master control to also control the headphone volume? Otherwise shouldn't it be named "speaker" instead of "master" thanks for any advice! brad -- Bradley W.
