I have upgraded from Mandrake 9.0 to Mandrake 9.1. I have an Via 8235 card...
On 9.0 i had no problems with the sound. On 9.1, despide the fact that all seems to work properly (no errors on loading modules, alsa-mixer works!) i still have no sound! Maybe the new driver is smarter than me... Maybe the driver by default directs the signal to the 5-channel output, but i don't want this. I want to use the old fashion output, with 2 channels.
