When I asked yesterday... I was told it isn't something you can do with current code... the OSS emulation stuff is all in the kernel level, while the dmix plugin is in userspace land. What you'd have to do would be to write an OSS emulation plugin that does that, yourself... forces the audio back to user land where it can be sent to the dmix plugin... at least, that's what I understood.
