yes, just now. Didnt know I had to do this.
OK, so I feel I'm edging ever so slightly closer, YaST sound configuration
shows card#0 as `Core Sound PDAudio-CF` and status as running. Oddly enough,
i dont see it trying to load on boot anymore. does that mean that the module
is officially 'part of the kernel'. It also seems to be running in lsmod
(below),but I still cant use/configure the card:
alsaconf returns : 'No supported PnP or PCI card found'
alsamixer wont run, returns : 'No mixer elems found'
audacity returns 'there was an error initializing the i/o layer. You will
not be able to play or record audio,Error : Host error'
my /etc/modules.conf is exactly like the alsa docs show. But are there
supposed to be options specified where it says '# module options should go
here'? I have nothing...
