This is my second try to get any help from this list, nobody answered the first
http://www.mail-archive.com/alsa-user-at-lists.sourceforge.net/msg08209.html My problem is I can't get 5.1-sound from my cmi8738 (still the same with 0.9.6). If I run "ac3dec -6 test.ac3" on screen everything seems to be fine, but only the two front speakers give sound. Is that a known problem? I'm pretty sure that all switches are set right.
