You should add more information, otherwise people will continue to not respond: Not responding is the same as: "I don't know". It is common practise to maintain silence when people don't know because otherwise all mailinglists, like this one, would be flooded by (stupid) postings of people who say 'I don't know', or 'Give more information'. The best thing to do is to give ALL information the first time you ask a question.
